Burton Albion 3-2 Fleetwood Town - A brace for Niasse pleases Maamria in comeback victory

Burton Albion assistant manager Dino Maamria has praised the performance of striker Oumar Niasse after the Brewers came back from two goals behind to beat Fleetwood Town 3-2 at the Pirelli Stadium.
An own-goal from Deji Oshilaja and a goal from substitute Dan Butterworth a minute after coming on had the Cod Army in firm control but a second-half comeback which started from Louis Moult on top of a brace from Niasse gave the Brewers all three points.
The second half fightback from Burton gave them their first victory in five games. Defeat for Fleetwood means they are now winless in their last 11 games and only goal difference separates them from the relegation zone.
At the end of the game, Maamria was quick to praise match-winner Niasse following two goals, including a 90th-minute winner from the Senegalese frontman.
"He has got that quality, that is why we've brought him here," he said.
"He has taken a little bit of time to gel into the team. The way we want to press from the front, I think he found that a little bit hard at times.
"He plays in his comfort zone, but we can carry that if he is scoring the goals and he's been delivering that."
As well as that, Maamria was also pleased with how well his team responded after going two goals down and eventually winning the game.
"To win it in the manner that we did I think is brilliant and I hope that's given everyone a lift," he said.
"Our performance first half I feel was full of anxiety. When you go through a sticky period as we have been, the expectation is there to get out of it, especially at home."

On his sides victory, Maamria believes his substitutes made a big impact in turning the game around and eventually claiming the three points.
"We came back second half," he said.
"I thought the substitutes made a huge impact on the second-half team performance.
"I think overall, we deserved to win the game. I believed we had about 26 shots so to get three points out of it, in the end, is really pleasing."
After claiming a big three points, the next challenge for Maamria and his players is to finish the season as strong as they possibly can.
"We knew we were going into a tough period, playing against some big clubs," he said.
"We've gone through that now and hopefully, today's result and the performance can give us a big lift to finish the season as strong as we can."
